Payment Options
Frequency:
Fee statements will be sent out at the beginning of each year and you will be invited to pay by instalments fortnightly, monthly (1st or 15th each month), per term or annually. Periodic statements will be issued at the beginning of each term outlining payments received and amounts outstanding.
School accounts must be finalised by August 31 (with the exception of arranged instalment payments)
Payment Method:
BPay is the preferred payment method. Cash, cheque, credit card (MasterCard or Visa).
No concessions will be given in relation to families being absent for part of the year due to illness, overseas travel, holidays, etc. Therefore, full fees are still expected to be paid irrespective of whether a family is away for a term or part term.
If you are experiencing any financial difficulties, please do not hesitate to discuss this matter with Fr. Peter or Mr Patrick Green. No person would be excluded because of fee paying difficulties. Notation of remissions should be kept on a confidential file and made available to such persons as the school auditors.
Captial Levy:
Throughout its history, the parishioners of St. Dominic's have worked for, and financially supported, our Parish and School. Their efforts and generosity have enabled us to have the buildings and resources we have today and plan for in the future.
If it was not for our parishioner's generosity through the Thanksgiving Program, these building programs would not have been possible.
The Capital Levy was introduced in 2006 to ensure equitable sharing of the financial responsibility of the school. The fee for 2019 is $500.00. All parents with children at St. Dominic's are expected to pay this amount.
Maintenance Levy:
A Maintenance levy of $120 assists funding our Building and Maintenance program.
General Levy:
The General Levy combines:
- Subject Levy (curriculum resources, RE Texts, consumables, photocopying, specialist program requirements, audio visual, Information & Curriculum Technologies and CCI School Care Cover)
- Physical Education Levy (assists with provision of our PE/Sports program)
Excursion Levy:
This levy provides support for areas of study/learning within the total school curriculum. It enables students to be involved both within and beyond the school environment in experiences which challenge, extend and motivate. The Yr 5/6 Levy includes Interschool Sport and an additional sport activity. Programs not included in this levy are:
Swimming Carnivals, Choir, District Athletics & Cross Country Competitions. Our involvement in these programs will be determined on a yearly basis and will incur a user pays arrangement.
Book Levy:
This levy covers the cost of the compulsory classroom supplies each child requires for school. There are different requirements at different year levels but generally cover items such as; exercise books, text books, stationary, art supplies, etc.
